Some Exciting News!

First off,  I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has supported Sweet Mildred so far.  It has been almost a year since I have really been pushing myself, and it looks like it has payed off:  I just quit my job.

I guess I should say it wasn’t a great job.  I was waiting tables and bar tending three double shifts a week.  While it is an optimistic dream that I will be able to support myself someday solely off of my sewing, this is one step in the direction towards that.  And all that I can do is to keep continuing.

Not working those extra 33 hours a week is going to mean a lot of changes for Sweet Mildred.  You can expect a quicker turn around time on your orders (sorry to everyone who had to wait for theirs, I am doing the best I can!).  It also means more product updates, including an original print coming up soon in the future.  I also have a late sale event planned for super soon! (I hope!)  This also means that I will be traveling to more conventions.  I am happy to announce that again this year I will be attending Kotoricon and Katsucon, with more and better stock.  So I look forward to meeting everyone and if you are going to these conventions, please stop by to say, “hi”!

I wanted to say thank you to everyone who came out and supported me at Otakon.  It was a great success and I had a really nice time talking to everyone and getting to know you.  I also had an incredible table partner, and I hope to be a part of the artist area in Otakon next year as well :3
